Bryson Gray
Bio:
Republican rapper Bryson Gray drew attention for rapping almost exclusively about his allegiance to Donald Trump and his right-wing political views. In addition to a loud and active social media presence, Gray prolifically released music centered around his politics, gaining some traction with his 2020 release Maga Ain’t Got No Color and its featured track “Trump Is Your President.” “Let’s Go Brandon,” an anti-Joe Biden cut, arrived the following year.
Hailing from North Carolina, Gray’s music made its first national impression in 2019 when he launched a challenge on social media asking fellow Trump supporters to rap over his beat about their love of the president. Beginning that year, Gray began releasing tracks of his own music online, almost all of which focused on Trump or the culture surrounding him. Songs like “The Wall Goin’ Up” and “Maga Boy” led to collections like Maga Ain’t Got No Color, Can’t Cancel God, and Maga Christmas, all of which were released in 2020. When Trump lost the election that year, Gray weighed in with songs like “Trump Won!” and “Ain’t Over Yet,” and in 2021 he aimed his vitriol at President Joe Biden with the single “Let’s Go Brandon.”
